{"content":"<h1>Just your friendly neighborhood White Hat &quot;Hacker&quot;!</h1>\n<p>I plan to start offering my services, so I am building this site from the ground up! While I'm building, feel free to still reach out and <a href=\"/contact\">contact me</a>, if you have any online privacy or security concerns. You can check out my <a href=\"/about\">background</a> and contact me, if you have questions in any of those subject matters as well. I will be writing a <a href=\"/blog\">blog</a> about my journey of learning, so feel free to learn something new today. If you have any comments about the site or an idea that you would like to see, tell me about it!</p>\n<h2>Services</h2>\n<p><strong>To all Starbucks employees (of which I am currently sitting in) and current students, your questions will always be free</strong><br>\nI plan to currently offer my services on a Pay What You Want model. I believe this will allow more people to get the help they need. Below is a non-inclusive list of my services:</p>\n<table>\n<thead>\n<tr>\n<th>Personal Help</th>\n<th>Small Business Help</th>\n</tr>\n</thead>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td>Tech Help &amp; Problem Solving</td>\n<td>Reliable On-Call IT Support</td>\n</tr>\n<tr>\n<td>New Gadget Setup &amp; Guidance</td>\n<td>Office Network Setup &amp; Security</td>\n</tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Computer Tune-Up &amp; Security Check</td>\n<td>Business Data Backup &amp; Recovery Plan</td>\n</tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Protecting Important Files &amp; Photos</td>\n<td>Cybersecurity Awareness Training for Employees</td>\n</tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Online Safety &amp; Privacy Boost</td>\n<td>Business Security Health Check</td>\n</tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Password Help &amp; Account Security</td>\n<td>Software Updates &amp; Patch Management</td>\n</tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Home Internet (Wi-Fi) Security</td>\n<td>Secure Setup of Essential Business Tools</td>\n</tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Personal Tech Coach</td>\n<td></td>\n</tr>\n</tbody>\n</table>\n<h2>Some helpful tips</h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Don't scan random QR codes from a source that you don't trust...\n<ul>\n<li>That is the same as clicking on a phishing email's link (you are the fish and the email is the bait, don't get hooked)</li>\n<li>This also applies to clicking on links from Instagram, text messages, Facebook, etc.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>If you are ever concerned about the safety of the link, you can always reach out and I will let you know that &quot;No, USPS doesn't need you to click on that link to continue sending you your package&quot;.\n<ul>\n<li>There are too many scare tactics out there that attempt to get you to click on a link. They want you to be in a panic and to rush, so please slow down and not to click on anything.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>There is an app called <a href=\"https://ghostery.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nopener noreferrer\">Ghostery</a> (I can help you install it) and it will help block intrusive ads, blocks hidden tracking, and will opt out of all those annoying cookie pop-ups by declining the unnecessary ones automatically!</li>\n<li>Restarting your phone and devices can help clear away a lot of different types of malware. It is hard to keep persistence on devices (easier to spot with antivirus), so most live in memory.</li>\n<li>Visit <a href=\"https://haveibeenpwned.com/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nopener noreferrer\">haveibeenpwned</a> and enter your email address. It will show you all the data leaks and hacks that your email shows up in. If you are still using the same password on one of the hacks, then please please please change it.\n<ul>\n<li>Get yourself a password manager. There are so many great ones out there. Each one has its' own <a href=\"/blog/1\">pros and cons</a>.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n"}
